Video tutorial for changing map display distance on cell phones

In Moovago, you can only show markers on the map within a certain radius of you.

A handy mobile tool for displaying only those companies in your vicinity and streamlining your map view. Note that you need to have activated your phone’s geolocation service for this to work.

Option 1: change display distance from map

By default, the Moovago map displays all companies within a 500km radius of you.

To see more or fewer companies, you can modify this radius by adjusting the slider to increase or decrease the distance.

To do this, on mobile :

  1. Go to the map.
  2. In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll see an inset displaying the default distance, with a “+” underneath. Press this “+”.
  3. A cursor appears above it. You can drag the slider with your finger to adjust the display distance.

For example, you can extend your radius to 600 km and more companies will appear on the map.

Or you can set your display radius to 50 km, to find companies really close to you. This will come in handy if you’re out in the field and want to find customers or prospects to visit nearby.

Note that changing the display distance does not change the zoom on the Moovago map.

Option 2: change default display distance

If you want to ALWAYS display companies within a radius of up to 100 km, you can change the default marker display distance.

Your preference will be taken into account each time the card is opened.

To do this:

  • Go to your settings (white icon of a little character in the top right-hand corner, accessible from the home screen)
  • Then go to“My Session Settings”.
  • Go to the“Map” tab
  • In the first box,“Companies around me within a radius of”, you can adjust the cursor according to your preferences.
  • Click on“Save” in the top right-hand corner

This new view will be used every time you access the map, allowing you to see companies within the chosen radius.
